Baking with Katie

Hello everyone and welcome back so today I'm going to show you some Christmas buns to make for everyone just like I did at Halloween.

You could make your own cake mix of you wanted to but we decided to buy a chocolate fuge one from the shop just to make it extra quick.

For this you just need to add around 2 table spoons of vegetable oil and around 200ml of water make sure you add It a bit at a time because you may not need all of this water and then you want to mix it all together.

Once you have this you want to spoon your mixture in to your cupcake cases and put them in the oven for 15-20 minutes longer if needed.

You then want to let them all cool down for around 20 minutes so when you ice them it doesn't run off.

For your icing you will need:

Butter or margarine
Red food colouring or coulour of your choice
Milk about 2 table spoons just to Make it more creamy
Caster sugar

The first thing you want to make sure is that your butter is not to hard so it is easy to cream the caster sugar and butter together I did not measure this out I just made sure it tasted right a long the way.

To help mix it together I added around 2 teaspoons of milk.

I then added red food colouring just to make the buns more Christmassy

Deocrating:
you will need:

your butter cream icing that you made earlier
and your sprinkles of your choice.

For me this the best part out of everything because you get to add cute decorations I picked mine up from morissons and it came with loads of different ones on it. You can decorate these however you want so you don't have to do it exactly how I did it.

So that's it for today's post I hope you liked these cute Chrisymas buns which are super tasty also my friend Katie did some melting snow man biscuits on her blog so makesure you check them out as they were super tasty and would be a good thing to make with little kids as they are easy, fun and not to messy. Thankyou  so much for reading bye.
